Across the globe, women still form a minority within senior executive ranks. Through the Executive Programme in Women’s Leadership programme, you will work with a group of peer women executives to enhance your leadership skills. Underpinned by research, the intensive 8-week online programme will be taught as a mixture of in-person live virtual sessions by experts from the Leeds University Business School augmented by facilitated peer coaching, offline discussion forums, and self-learning.

Through this theme, participants reflect on their own identity as a woman leader.

- Leadership styles
Facilitated Peer Coaching Sessions:
Live facilitated peer coaching session around a leadership challenge.
Offline group discussions on MS Teams:
Discussions around emotional intelligence, storytelling and pitching.
Weeks 3&4
Live virtual session:
Theme 2 – You, the Strategist
Through this theme, participants focus on enhancing their management decision making skills.
Topics include:
- Management decision making
- Tools and techniques for strategic analysis
- Making a business case
- Entrepreneurial thinking
Facilitated Peer Coaching Sessions:
Live facilitated peer coaching session around a decision-making scenario.
Offline group discussions on MS Teams:
Discussions around strategic thinking, scenario planning, design thinking and innovation
Weeks 5&6
Live virtual session:
Theme 3 – You, the People Manager
Through this theme, participants learn about team leadership and management.
Topics include:
- Building high performance teams
- Traits of a good people manager
- Motivating people
- Managing conflict
- Manager as a coach
Facilitated Peer Coaching Sessions:
Live facilitated peer coaching session around a people management challenge.
Offline group discussions on MS Teams:
Discussions around team management, collaboration, influencing and networking.

Live virtual session:
Theme 4 – You, the Change Agent
Through this theme, participants learn how to drive change in organisations.
Topics include:
- Reactions to change
- Change leadership
- Stages of driving the change process in organisations

Discussions around change management.
